M-1942 Reinforced Trousers, Luxury

These pants are a reproduction. This is the so-called "reinforced" M-42 model, as unlike the "standard" M-42 model, it has received strong pieces of canvas under the cargo pockets and at the knees making the pants less fragile to the conditions of fighting. The webbing straps are passed on the lateral cargo pockets once loaded. This is the model mostly carried by paratroopers of the 101st and 82nd airborne divisions in Normandy and seen in the series "Band of Brothers - Brothers in arms" by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.

This luxury version is thick canvas, better color and better bill than the other proposed version, more resistant. The 3 seams on the reinforcements are reproduced.
