Red Cross Armband

This canvas armband has a red cross sewn on a white background in order to distinguish the nursing staff in the theater of operations as advocated by the Geneva Convention which prohibits shooting at anyone carrying such effects. In practice, many of these soldiers, men and women, fighting with syringes, bandages and bistouries will also leave their lives for our freedom.
