First-Aid Pouch

This reproduction of the first aid pouch is made of string canvas and equipped with a hook. Originally, it was widely distributed in all ranks of the US Army. It contained the individual bandage, sometimes accompanied by some sulphanilamide pocket. This pouch of model 1942 (M42) is fixed in the eyelets of the belt (Garand, M-1936, BAR, ...).
