US M1 Ammo pouch

This magazine pouch is original, and the markings are illegible. It attaches to the M-36 belt and holds two M1 rifle magazines. This type of pouch was issued to soldiers in the U.S. Army during World War II. This magazine pouch shows signs of use and has been altered by the French Army (two holes for a leather loop with a ring).
