Medic Armband USAMD

This white cloth armband has a red cross sewn into it to clearly distinguish medical personnel in the theater of operations as called for by the Geneva Convention, which prohibits shooting at anyone wearing such items. In practice, many of these soldiers, men and women, who fight with syringes, bandages and scalpels will also give their lives for our freedom. This original armband bears the period markings, but also those of a French reuse (War Ministry stamp). Pin provided.
