Mess kit pouch US (2)

This original canvas pouch is equipped with 4 metal buckles for attaching it to the M-28 field pack. It is designed to hold a mess kit and US-issue cutlery sets. Many soldiers also used it to store various small items, as the backpack had no other pockets. This pouch was manufactured for the U.S. Army and issued to soldiers during World War II. This pouch is in good overall condition.
