US 250CC bottle for plasma and distilled water
This glass bottle is part of a batch found in Normandy on a former American field hospital. It was originally supplied with a second bottle in the plasma kits. One of the two bottles contained the dehydrated plasma, the second contained the distilled water. The markings are clearly present under the bottom of the bottle. Plasma was widely used in 1944 in the field hospitals of Normandy and elsewhere. Capacity 250CC.
