US M3 Holster

This holster is an original, leather-made piece used by all U.S. Army personnel during World War II. This type of holster is often seen on paratroopers, pilots, vehicle crew members, etc. The markings indicate it was manufactured by Enger-Kress. The leather is sturdy and somewhat stiff. The snaps are functional. This holster was designed to hold the Colt 1911 45 ACP automatic pistol.
