Original US M1 heavy helmet shell for reenactment
This helmet shell is original and forms the heavy part of the US Army's M1 helmet during World War II. It is a model with movable chin straps, with the ring welded to the front of the shell. This shell has been restored for reenactment. The anti-glare texture and paint have been redone. Reproductions of chin straps have been sewn on.
