Mess kit pouch US

This original canvas pouch is equipped with 4 metal buckles to attach it to the M-28 knapsack. It allows to contain the bowl and US cutlery sets. Many soldiers also used it to store a number of small effects, the backpack having no other pocket. This pouch was made for the US Army and supplied to soldiers during the Second World War. 

This pouch belonged to H.P. MURR.
