US Service Cap

This cap is original. It was issued to US Army soldiers during World War II. It is the model for enlisted men and non-commissioned officers (NCOs), as confirmed by the insignia affixed to a gold disc. This cap is worn with the service uniform.

Large size (7 1/3) manufactured by the Wimbledon tailor. The sweatband is still attached, but the stitching will need to be redone for the cap to be worn in reenactments. A few moth holes, cavalry model with two chin straps. The front chin strap has a small defect.
