US M-1936 Bag Strap

This multi-purpose strap is adjustable and equipped with two buckles. It fits the American M36 Musette bag so that it can be carried across the body or on the shoulder, but it also fits any bag equipped with hooks. The M36 musette bag was used by US Army paratroopers and many other US soldiers during World War II. It was also later used as a school bag by many schoolchildren and students. The manufacturer's markings are present, and the strap is dated 1943.
