Mess kit pouch US

This original canvas pouch has four metal loops for attaching it to the M-28 haversack. It can hold a mess kit and US cutlery set. Many soldiers also used it to store a number of small items, as the backpack had no other pockets. This pouch was manufactured for the US Army and issued to soldiers during World War II. This pouch is in poor condition (strap cut).
