OD7 Assault Vest

This reproduction of the canvas assault vest is the replica of the mythical equipment used by the first waves of American assault deployed in Normandy on June 6, 1944. The 4 manufacturers of the time produced 7,000 copies of this extremely rare vest original. They were distributed to the 1st, 4th, 29th Infantry Divisions, to the Rangers and even some anecdotal use is observed among some paratroopers. Ancestor of today's tactical vest, it allows the port of multiple ammunition and accessories without having to carry a cumbersome package. The straps with quick opening tab allow to equip or stock up on ammunition instantly.

Regarding the sizes, remember that under the vest is at least a shirt and a jacket, and it will surely provide a little wider than your usual size.
