Assault Vest

This reproduction of thheavy canvas vest is a replica of the mythical equipment used by the first American assault waves deployed in Normandy on June 6th, 1944. The four manufacturers of the time produced this rare vest in original condition for 7,000 copies. They were distributed to the 1st, 4th, 29th Infantry Divisions, Rangers and even anecdotal use was observed in some paratroopers pics. Anchor of today's tactical vest, it allows to carry multiple ammunition and accessories without having to transport a bulky package.
