Rigger US Canteen cover

This cover of the M-1910 model "Cavalry" has received several additional pieces of web canvas to reinforce it. It is provided to soldiers of the United States Army to store the gourd and the quarter, available separately. Using its metal hook, the cover allows the whole to be worn on the belt. This version was modified by the addition of a magazine pouch for two US M1 carbine magazines, a practice seen among paratroopers in Normandy. Chargers sold separately.
