Mess kit pouch BM

This canvas pouch is equipped with 4 metal buckles allowing to fix it on the M-28 haversack. It can hold the canteen and the US cutlery set. Many soldiers also used it to store a number of small items, as the backpack had no other pockets. This pouch was made for the US Army in Great Britain (British Made) and is dated 1943.
