Original First Lieutenant US Army M1 helmet
This M1 helmet is an original piece produced during World War II for the U.S. Army.
The shell—with a welded front rim and fixed chin strap bales—bears the serial number 632C. The chin straps are the original sewn ones. Traces of cork and paint remain, along with a painted First Lieutenant insignia. Note: there is a crack.
The liner is a Westinghouse model with green A-Washers. The chin strap is missing, but the neckband and sweatband are present. The paint is in good condition. It features a painted First Lieutenant insignia.
The set is consistent and retains its original, field-worn appearance.
