M-43 Shovel cover

This canvas sheath is designed to carry the M-1943 shovel, often called the “folding shovel,” which—unlike the “T-shovel”—can be used as a pickaxe. The sheath is equipped with a hook—the second type, which is adjustable—that allows the shovel to be secured to a belt or to the M-1928 knapsack in the designated slot. The case is brand-new from stock, but the markings have been erased.
