Shortened Leggings

These gaiters are original, size 2, a shortened model designed to save money during the war, which appeared in 1944. They are in good condition. Once laced up, they prevent damage to the bottoms of trousers and, more importantly, prevent water from seeping into shoes and under the uniform. Dated 1944.
