This canvas cover is original and dates from 1944.
It has an adjustable strap for carrying the Garand M1 rifle used by American soldiers during World War II on the shoulder.
It was originally an M1 carbine carrying case that has been lengthened.
The pouch closes with a functional zipper. This cover is in good condition.
