517th M1 Garand Griswold Bag

Specially designed for parachute jumping, this strong quilted canvas cover allows you to jump with the M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle disassembled in two parts. The hook sewn on the cover allows you to hang the assembly to the harness and thus not to lose the weapon in full action. This modified version was seen in the South of France during the Landing of Provence, within the 517th PRCT.
