M1 Garand Griswold Bag

Specially designed for parachute jumping, this quilted canvas cover lets you jump with the semi-automatic M1 Garand rifle disassembled in two parts. The hook sewn on the cover allows to hang the assembly to the harness and thus not to lose the gun in full action. This type of cover was widely used by the 101st and 82nd airborne divisions during the jump in C-47 in the 8th of June 1944 in Normandy.
