Reproductions of Allied invasion tickets for France
Reproduction La Petite Musette
These paper bills were worth 2, 5, 10, 50 and 100 francs. They were distributed to all Allied soldiers, among other denominations, to enable them to consume in liberated and then occupied territory. At the time, we didn't know how long this occupation would last, and the economy of regions devastated by years of conflict had to be revived. The territory concerned by this model is France.
