US Engineer Special Brigades Shoulder Badge (SSI)
This patch (SSI) is a reproduction of the insignia worn on the uniforms of soldiers belonging to the US Army's Special Engineering Brigades (ESB). Divided into 6 brigades, the men of the ESB were sent to the various fronts to carry out tasks ancillary to those of the fighting units (beach clearance, etc.).
