M2 Helmet Chinstrap

This beautiful reproduction of the chinstrap of the US  helmet shell fits perfectly on the bales attached to the steel shell. It is made of strong canvas, equipped with a hook and a buckle allowing to adjust its size to fix it under the chin. These jugulars are equipped with pressures buttons at the ends, specific model to fix them to the paratrooper liner and ensure assembly of the complete helmet. This type of chinstrap is widely distributed with the M2 helmets (half-moon D-Bales) as well as with numerousM1 shells (fixed and mobile bales) distributed to paratroopers of the US Army during the Second World War.
