US Liner - French Army

This underhelmet is original and made by Westinghouse (marked on the bottom). The interior is almost missing. Showcase piece. This type of liner fits into the heavy helmet worn by all American soldiers during the Second World War.

This liner was, however, used by a soldier in the French Liberation Army. It features a Lorraine Cross painted on the front.
