Medic garison cap - Pursell

This green cloth cap with medical corps piping is original and nominative.

James R. Pursell, serial number 35578897, was born in 1923 in Indiana. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943. He was a member of Battery D, 203rd Anti-Aircraft Artillery, 7th Armored Division. He was promoted to Tech 5 in Great Britain in April 1944. He survived the war and died in 1994.
