1943 US Mess Tin

This bowl is made of two parts. There is a bottom and a lid with a folding handle to close and fix the whole. This type of canteen was distributed to all the soldiers of the American army during the Second World War. It fits in the musette or in the pouch of the Havresac available here. The canteen is dated on the handle of 1943.
