US wooden pole for original tent, 1942 with laundry number
This original wooden tent pole was supplied to U.S. Army soldiers during the Second World War, enabling them to erect their Shelter tents. A pair of two soldiers could thus build a complete tent. The manufacturer's markings are still present, but can't read the date.
