US Overshoes

These Overshoes are original and supplied to US Army soldiers. This pair is in good overall condition and in size 8. Overshoes were supposed to be worn over brodequins (but could be worn without) to protect them from damp and cold. Faced with a shortage of rubber, overshoe production was soon abandoned, but they were used throughout the war. Flexible and in good condition, this pair is dated 1944.
