Surplus d'Histoire et de Créations
This wrist compass comes with a leather strap. The set is original. It was distributed to US Army soldiers during the Second World War, and in particular to the American paratroopers who jumped over Normandy, sometimes attaching it to the breastplate or ankle. Its nickname "Taylor" comes from the company that made it: TAYLOR (Rochester, N.Y.). The compass is in generally good condition, but the strap is missing.
