Stirrup pump
Original British stirrup pump, Normandy
This stirrup pump is original and was found in Normandy in the Manche department.
It is the stirrup pump originally used by British firefighters and civil defense during World War II, particularly to fight fires caused by bombing.
This example was probably seized by an Allied unit and then used in Normandy following the invasion. It needs to be restored or left as a decorative item.
