98K Bayonet

This blade is German and original. This type of bayonet fits on the Mauser Karabiner 98 rifle, standardized and distributed in the ranks of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. It is the version with bakelite handle plates. Functional push button. The scabbard is not marked but the blade is well dated 1944. The tanning is gone but the metal is sound.
